National Manufacturing Day

National Manufacturing Day #MFGDAY is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.

Manufacturing Day is observed annually on the first Friday in October. Last year, approximately 3K events took place nationwide!

Manufacturers all over the region OPEN THEIR DOORS and let the community in! They share best practices, ideas, and new technologies that grow our economy. GO TO THE SOURCE! A MAKER! Our makers create jobs through entrepreneurship, and their competitiveness revitalizes #AmericanManufacturing

MANY of our Inland Empire makers can be seen on Discovery TV Network Show; “HOW ITS MADE”, and many of those connections developed through participation from this day! Bring NATIONAL ATTENTION to your manufacturing business! Host an event! YOU decide how to participate! (IE: Open 1-3 with tours every 30 minutes).

Encourage high-schools to organize bus trips to manufacturers to witness technologies in motion and become inspired.

Encourage your city to sign proclamations in observance of National Manufacturing Day – help us all inspire the next generation workforce!
